Amy Leach is a British theatre director renowned for her groundbreaking work with the award-winning theatre company, en masse, and her current role as Associate Director of the Leeds Playhouse. Born on 14 April 1981, Amy Leach grew up in Darwen, Lancashire, where her passion for theatre was nurtured at the Bolton Octagon Theatre's youth theatre. After graduating from Durham University, Leach co-founded en masse with playwright and composer Oliver Birch. The company rapidly gained recognition, touring nationally and internationally between 2003 and 2011.
In 2018, Leach joined the Leeds Playhouse as Associate Director, where she spearheaded the programming and ensemble company for the PopUp Season (2018-2019).
