As a junior, Nicholson was an Atlantic 10 Preseason and All-Defensive first-team selection. He went on to earn first-team All-Atlantic 10 and first-team NABC All-District honors, solidifying his position as one of the top players in the country.

NBA and International Career

Nicholson's impressive college career earned him a spot in the 2012 NBA draft, where he was selected 19th overall by the Orlando Magic. He went on to play for the Magic from 2012 to 2016, before joining the Washington Wizards in 2016.
