Andriy Kuzmenko, also known as Kuzma Skryabin, was a Ukrainian singer, poet, writer, TV presenter, producer, and actor who left an indelible mark on Ukraine's music scene. As the lead singer of the Ukrainian rock band Skryabin, founded in 1989, he was the driving force behind the band's unique sound and style, which captivated audiences across the country.
Born on August 17, 1968, in Sambir, Lviv region, Kuzmenko grew up in a family of music lovers. His mother, a music teacher, and father, an engineer, encouraged his creative pursuits from a young age. Kuzmenko's early interests lay in sports, particularly biathlons, and he even dreamed of becoming a garbage truck driver. However, he went on to study music and dentistry, eventually graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry, albeit not by choice.
