Artur Kotenko is a retired Estonian professional footballer who made a lasting impact on the sport as a skilled goalkeeper, best known for his remarkable career with FCI Levadia, where he scored a crucial title-winning goal in the 2004 Meistriliiga.
Kotenko's talent was evident from an early stage, and his dedication earned him a spot in Levadia's starting lineup. On October 24, 2004, he scored the team's second goal against Tulevik in the penultimate round of the 2004 Meistriliiga, securing the title and making it the league-winning goal.
After a successful stint with Levadia, Kotenko took his skills to Norway, joining Sandnes Ulf in the Norwegian First Division. Although his time with the club was short-lived due to a relegation release clause in his contract, he continued to explore opportunities abroad.
In December 2008, Kotenko underwent a successful two-week trial at Nottingham Forest in the English Championship, but the deal fell through when Colin Calderwood was sacked following a Boxing Day defeat to Doncaster Rovers.
Undeterred, Kotenko joined Viking in the Eliteserien on February 6, 2009. Although his league debut was cut short after just 25 minutes due to a red card, he continued to showcase his skills in subsequent matches.

After a stint in Cyprus, Kotenko moved to Azerbaijan, joining Ravan Baku on a two-year contract. He made his debut on August 6, 2011, but the contract was mutually terminated in October of the same year.
