In 2011, Biyombo was drafted seventh overall by the Sacramento Kings in the NBA draft. He was subsequently traded to the Charlotte Bobcats (now Hornets), where he spent four seasons. Biyombo's NBA career has seen him play for the Toronto Raptors, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, and Memphis Grizzlies, before joining the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2020.
