Her Broadway debut was in the play Maybe Tuesday, which unfortunately closed after just five performances.

Although they reportedly separated in 1974, California court records reveal that the couple actually divorced in August 1977.
Somers became a U.S. citizen late in life. Her personal life was marked by the loss of her daughter Leslie, who passed away from lung cancer in 2003.
