NGuessan spent the first half of the 2006-07 season on loan at English League Two club Boston United, making his first-team debut on August 19, 2006. He scored his first goal in senior football on September 1, 2006, in a 2-1 defeat to Hartlepool United. His impressive performances at Boston United earned him a spot at Lincoln City in January 2007, where he spent over two seasons.
