David Faustino is a name synonymous with 90s television, thanks to his iconic portrayal of Bud Bundy on the hit Fox sitcom Married... with Children. But what many may not know is that Faustino has also lent his voice to various animated characters, including Mako on The Legend of Korra and Helia on Winx Club.
Born on March 3, 1974, in Los Angeles, California, to Roger, a costumer, and Kay Faustino (née Freeman), a homemaker, Faustino made his television debut at a tender age of three months on the Lily Tomlin Special. He didn't begin acting regularly until 1980, with a small role on Little House on the Prairie. Throughout the early to mid-1980s, Faustino guest-starred on various TV shows, including Highway to Heaven, Family Ties, St. Elsewhere, and The Love Boat.
In 1987, Faustino landed the role of Bud Bundy on Married... with Children, a character that would catapult him to fame. He played the younger of the two Bundy children in 259 episodes, from April 5, 1987, until the season finale on June 9, 1997. Faustino's portrayal of Bud earned him a special place in the hearts of audiences worldwide.
After Married... with Children, Faustino went on to appear in various TV shows and films, including Burke's Law, MADtv, and The New Addams Family. In 2001, he appeared in the independent film Killer Bud. The following year, he participated in the reality television special Celebrity Boot Camp.
In 2005, Faustino guest-starred on two episodes of One on One. He also developed and starred in Starving, a weekly Internet comedy series on Crackle, an online video network backed by Sony Pictures Entertainment. A total of 12 episodes of Starving were produced.
Faustino's younger brother, Michael, also pursued an acting career, making several guest appearances on Married... with Children, including an episode that David co-wrote, "TRASH".
