Eva LaRue is an American actress and model, best known for her iconic roles as Maria Santos on the popular soap opera All My Children and as Detective Natalia Boa Vista on the hit crime drama CSI: Miami.
Born on December 27, 1966, in Long Beach, California, LaRue was raised in a close-knit family with three siblings. She began acting at the tender age of six and went on to become a teenage beauty queen, winning the title of Danfranc Productions Miss California Empire 1984.
After graduating from Norco High School in 1985, LaRue kicked off her modeling career with the Judith Fontaine Agency, eventually moving on to Fredericks of Hollywood. She has graced the covers of numerous magazines, including LA Direct, Vivmag, Orange Coast, InStyle Weddings, Woman's World, and Latina. LaRue has also appeared in infomercials for Zumba fitness workout and Sheer Cover Studio mineral makeup.
LaRue's acting career took off when she became the cohost and announcer on Candid Camera from 1991 to 1992. Her breakthrough role came when she played Dr. Maria Santos Grey on All My Children, a role she reprised from 1993 to 1997 and again from 2002 to 2005.
