Jung's impressive performances didn't go unnoticed, and he was invited to join the German U21 national team by coach Horst Hrubesch in 2015. Although he couldn't participate due to an injury, he was again invited by Stefan Kuntz in 2016. Unfortunately, he was sidelined once more due to an injury.
