Jeff Orford, born on 11 January 1971, is a renowned Australian former professional rugby league footballer who made a mark in the 1990s with his exceptional skills on the wing.
Orford's illustrious career spanned over six years, during which he played for four teams in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership: Eastern Suburbs, St. George, Gold Coast Chargers, and South Sydney. His remarkable performances earned him a spot in the Australian Schoolboys representative team in 1989.
Orford was graded by the Eastern Suburbs Roosters in 1990 and made his first-grade debut in 1991. He played a crucial role in the team's victory over the North Sydney Bears at the Sydney Football Stadium, contributing to their 16-14 win.
In 1992, Orford was selected to play on the wing in the City Origin side in the annual City vs Country Origin game. Although he was considered unlucky to miss out on a spot in the New South Wales side in the 1992 State of Origin series, he was once again picked in the City Origin side in 1993.

Orford returned to Sydney in 1997 and signed with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, playing his final season of rugby league. Although he didn't fully recapture his stellar form from his days at the Roosters, he made 10 appearances for the Rabbitohs.
