After a stagnant period with Manly, Robson signed with the Parramatta Eels in 2009, where he played a pivotal role in the team's remarkable resurgence. Initially featuring in reserve grade for the Wentworthville Magpies, Robson was called up by coach Daniel Anderson to replace Brett Finch midway through the season.
