Professional Career

The Minnesota Timberwolves drafted Okogie with the 20th overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft, marking the beginning of his professional journey. He signed with the Timberwolves in July 2018 and participated in the 2018 NBA Summer League. After Jimmy Butler's trade in November, Okogie entered the starting lineup, averaging nearly 22 minutes a game on the season. In January 2019, he was named a member of the World Team for the 2019 Rising Stars Challenge.

In July 2022, Okogie signed with the Phoenix Suns, where he continues to showcase his skills. On December 7, 2022, he scored a career-high 28 points in a 125-98 loss to the Boston Celtics, cementing his position as a rising star in the NBA.
