Kate Deines, an American soccer midfielder/defender, is best known for her skills on the field, which earned her a spot in the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) draft in 2012. Born on September 17, 1989, in Portland, Oregon, Deines' passion for soccer began at a young age, leading her to an illustrious high school career at Issaquah High School.

During her time at Issaquah High, Deines led the soccer team to four consecutive conference championships from 2004 to 2007 and four state title games, winning three of them.
