In 2017, Ciman was traded to Los Angeles FC, where he scored the first goal in the newly opened Banc of California Stadium on a free kick in the 93rd minute. Despite this milestone, his stint with LAFC was short-lived, as he joined Ligue 1 club Dijon FCO in 2018.
Ciman's achievements extend beyond his club career, as he was a member of the Belgium squad that finished fourth at the 2008 Olympics. He also represented the National U21 side, solidifying his reputation as a talented young player.
After his contract with Dijon was terminated by mutual consent, Ciman returned to MLS, signing with Toronto FC in 2018. Following the 2020 season, Toronto chose not to renew his contract, marking the end of his playing career.
