Mendoza finished her high school education at St. Paul College of Bocaue in Bulacan and went on to complete a bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management, majoring in Culinary Arts, at De La Salle College of St. Benilde. She even had an internship at The Sagamore in Bolton Landing, New York.
Mendoza is married to Arjo Atayde, whom she tied the knot with on July 28, 2023, at the Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel in Baguio City. The private ceremony was attended by their closest friends and family.
