Marko Dao, born on November 30, 1994, is a Slovak professional ice hockey right winger who has made a name for himself in the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). With his impressive skills and speed on the ice, Dao has become a household name in the world of ice hockey.
In 2013, Dao was ranked 12th among International Skaters by the NHL Central Scouting Services, and subsequently, he was selected in the first round, 27th overall, by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL Entry Draft. He returned to Slovan Bratislava of the KHL for the 2013-2014 season, but eventually signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Blue Jackets in March 2014.
