In 2004, Jennings took on a new challenge, becoming the coach of the South African national team on a short-term contract. During his tenure, the team played four Test series, with mixed results. Ray Jennings is a proud father to Keaton Jennings, who has also made a name for himself in the cricketing world. Keaton has represented Durham, Lancashire County Cricket Club, and the England Test side, scoring an impressive 112 on debut against India in Mumbai in 2016.
