Stockman also wrote and sang "Visions of a Sunset" for the Mr. Holland's Opus soundtrack.
In 2009, Stockman took on a new role as a judge on the NBC television show The Sing-Off, where he shared his expertise with aspiring a cappella groups for five seasons. This experience not only showcased his knowledge but also allowed him to give back to the music community.
