Stefan Hodgetts is a British auto racing driver, best known for his impressive stint in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). As the son of Chris Hodgetts, a two-time BTCC champion, Stefan has racing running through his veins and has made a name for himself in the competitive world of motorsport.
Hodgetts' racing journey began in karting, before transitioning to single-seater racing in 1998. In 1999, he finished fifth in the Formula Vauxhall Championship and fourth in the Formula Ford Winter Series. Over the years, he has competed in various championships, including the Formula Renault Championship, Formula Ford Championship, and Formula Renault Euro Cup.
In 2004, Hodgetts got his big break in the BTCC, driving for Team Sureterm. Although he started the season late, at round thirteen at Mondello Park, he made an impact, finishing fifteenth in the independents' championship and eighteenth overall with four points.
