Born on December 16, 1984, in High Wycombe, England, Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptiklis, aka Theo James, is the youngest of five siblings. His father, Philip Taptiklis, was a business consultant, while his mother, Jane (née Martin), worked for the National Health Service. James' grandfather was a Greek refugee, and he also has Scottish descent.
JAMES attended Aylesbury Grammar School and later earned his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Nottingham. He further honed his acting skills at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
