A former NFL linebacker who played for the Indianapolis Colts from 2003 to 2008, known for his special teams contributions and brief stint as a starter.
During his junior year, Hagler led his team to a 13-1 record and helped them secure a second-place finish in the state playoffs, earning himself first-team All-State honors in the process. His impressive senior year saw him rack up 3 sacks and 61 tackles on defense, while also rushing for over 1,400 yards and 25 touchdowns on offense.
In 2009, Hagler suffered a ruptured biceps, which led to him being placed on injured reserve for the rest of the season. This setback, however, did not deter him from making a comeback to the NFL.
During a pivotal week 15 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Hagler returned an onside kick from Josh Scobee 41 yards for a touchdown, helping the Colts secure a 34-24 victory and subsequently win the AFC South crown.
