Yong Mun Sen, widely regarded as the Father of Malaysian Painting, was a pioneering Malaysian artist and one of the founders of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. After completing his studies in 1910, Sen returned to Kuching, where he would later change his name to Yong Mun Sen in 1922.
