Lenin, Trotsky, and Stalin form Soviet government
In the aftermath of the Russian Revolution, the Bolsheviks, led by Vladimir Lenin, were poised to take control of the government. In a bold move, Lenin, along with his loyal allies Leon Trotsky and Joseph Stalin, formed the first Council of People's Commissars, marking the birth of the Soviet government. This council, composed of 15 members, was tasked with governing the newly formed Soviet state, and its establishment solidified the Bolsheviks' hold on power. As Lenin, Trotsky, and Stalin worked together, they set the stage for a new era in Russian politics, one that would be marked by radical change and totalitarian rule.
