Venezuelan President Overthrown in Military Coup
Venezuelan president Isaías Medina Angarita was living on borrowed time, and on this fateful day, Mario Vargas, Marcos Pérez Jiménez, and Carlos Delgado Chalbaud, a triumvirate of Venezuelan Armed Forces leaders, decided to cash in that loan.
