He then graduated to the AAA Brantford 99ers of the Pavilion League, where he played until Minor Midget in the 2005-06 season. In May 2006, Henrique was selected by the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) in the second round, 24th overall, of the 2006 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

Rise to Fame

Henrique's junior career was marked by success, as he won back-to-back Memorial Cups with the Windsor Spitfires in 2009 and 2010. He was also a member of the gold medal-winning Team Ontario U17 team at the Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon, in February 2007. During his time with the Spitfires, Henrique was named to the OHL's Second All-Star Team in 2009-10 and played in the 2010 OHL All-Star Game.

Professional Career

Henrique was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the 4th round, 82nd overall, of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut on October 13, 2011, and went on to play for the Devils until 2015, when he was traded to the Anaheim Ducks. In 2018, Henrique was traded to the Edmonton Oilers, where he currently plays.
