Born on August 29, 1977, Cayetano's musical journey began at a young age, with him being involved with several indie bands while studying music. In 1995, he joined the popular Greek band Stroggylo Kitrino, releasing two albums, Stroggylo Kitrino (1996) and O Ksenos (1999), under the legendary Lazy Dog Records.
In 2000, Cayetano embarked on a journey to Europe, eventually settling in Barcelona, Spain, where he worked with various Spanish groups as a pianist and bassist. During this period, he developed the Cayetano project, a dub-trip-hop-jazz oriented endeavor. His first album, Mr. White, was released in 2001 on the German label Kinky Lounge, followed by Cayetano in 2003, which garnered him recognition on the European scene.
Returning to Greece in 2004, Cayetano founded Sala Sonora Records and released his critically acclaimed album
In 2008, Cayetano signed with Etage Noir and produced Loopa Scava meets Cayetano Up and Down, a successful album that cemented his position in the underground trip-hop scene. He has also remixed tracks for notable artists such as Tailor, Parov Stelar, Timewarp Inc., and Ancient Astronauts.
