Drawn in a Marcinelle style reminiscent of Franquin, two albums were published. However, in 2013, Jippes expressed his desire to complete a third story, but lacked the time and funding to do so.

In 2018, Fantagraphics Books dedicated a volume to Daan Jippes and Freddy Milton in the Disney Masters book series, titled Donald Duck: The Great Survival Test. This recognition cemented Jippes' position as a master of Disney comics. Since 2021, the Carl Barks scripted Junior Woodchuck stories that Jippes finished have been reprinted, further solidifying his legacy.
