At just 11 years old, Albert impressed the coaches at Ferencvros during a talent day, earning him a spot in the club's youth academy. He quickly rose through the ranks, making his senior team debut in 1958 against Disgyr, scoring two goals in the process.
Albert spent his entire club career with Ferencvrosi TC, playing from 1952 to 1974. During this period, he became a club legend, earning numerous accolades and breaking records.
