The following year, he moved back to the rotation, pitching to a 6-7 win-loss record with a 4.83 earned run average in 15 games pitched.

Professional Career

Despite going unselected in the 2008 MLB Draft, Shoemaker's determination didn't waver. He signed with the Los Angeles Angels as a free agent and pitched in Minor League Baseball through 2013, when he made his MLB debut.
