Born on March 5, 1976, in Lithuania, Jasikevicius was born into a family of athletes. His mother, Rita, was a renowned handball player who won a silver medal with the Soviet Union women's national handball team at the 1975 World Women's Handball Championship. This sporting legacy paved the way for Jasikevicius's own journey in basketball.
Standing at 6 ft 4 in tall, Jasikevicius played as a point guard, a position that would become synonymous with his name.
