It was during his time at Cambridge that Thomas developed his passion for comedy, becoming a member of the renowned Footlights Drama Society, where he met his future The Inbetweeners co-star Simon Bird.
Thomas' big break came when he landed the role of Simon Cooper in The Inbetweeners, a sitcom that follows the misadventures of four friends navigating high school.
