It was during this time that she developed a passion for music, watching the television program "Il Musichiere" and learning songs by heart.
Carr's music career took off in the 1960s, with her first single "Partirò" in 1969. She went on to release 25 studio albums in 37 countries, selling over 60 million records worldwide.
