Born on April 10, 1973, in Garça, São Paulo, Brazil, Roberto Carlos da Silva Rocha began his footballing journey as a forward before transitioning to left back. He started his professional career at União São João in 1992, before moving to Palmeiras in 1993 and then to Inter Milan in 1995.
In 1996, Roberto Carlos made the move to Real Madrid, where he would spend the next 11 seasons, winning four La Liga titles and three UEFA Champions League trophies. During his time at Real Madrid, he became an integral part of the team, known for his exceptional defensive skills, speed, and attacking prowess. He left Real Madrid in 2007, having made 584 appearances and scored 71 goals.
Roberto Carlos made his debut for the Brazil national team in 1992 and went on to represent his country in three World Cups, reaching the final in 1998 and winning the tournament in 2002.
