Bronfman's international debut in 1975 with Zubin Mehta and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra marked the beginning of his illustrious career. In 1999, he was featured in Disney's Fantasia 2000, performing Dmitri Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2 in F major with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Orchestre de Paris, among others. One of his most notable performances was in 2006, when he played Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra conducted by Mstislav Rostropovich.
